We map every switch location, plan the scenes you'll actually use, and quote the fixtures, switches, and any rewiring needed for neutrals or three-way runs. The scope is laid out before any boxes get opened.
Install, commission, and walkthrough

Will smart switches work in my older San Diego home?
Usually, yes — but many older homes don't have a neutral wire at the switch box, which most smart switches need. We check that on the walk-through and tell you what's possible before we quote.
Which platform should I pick?
Depends on how you want to control the lights and what else you have in the house. Lutron Caséta is the easiest path for most homes; full Lutron RA fits larger or higher-end installs; Leviton and Apple Home work if you're already in that ecosystem. We'll talk through the trade-offs.
Can you integrate exterior and landscape lighting?
Yes. We install and integrate exterior fixtures, landscape lighting, and the smart controls that drive them — so the scenes you set inside also handle the outside lights.
Do I need a hub?
Some platforms need a hub (Lutron Caséta, full RA, hub-based brands); others are Wi-Fi-direct. Either path works. The right answer depends on how many devices you're running and how reliable you need it to be.
Will you set up the scenes for me?
Yes. We don't just install the switches and leave. We build the scenes you tell us you want, pair the system to your network, and walk you through how to edit them yourself.
