Where do you work?
We serve San Diego County — including La Jolla, Carlsbad, Encinitas, Del Mar, Poway, Chula Vista, and Coronado. If you're nearby but not on that list, ask us anyway.
What hours do you work?
Our standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM. We schedule commercial work after-hours and on weekends when a tenant or operating window requires it — that's planned during scoping, not handled on the fly.
Are you insured?
Yes. CaliSpark Electric is an insured, owner-operated electrical contractor with 15+ years of experience serving San Diego County.
How does the quote process work?
We start with a phone or on-site evaluation, walk through what the job entails, and send a fixed-scope quote with line-item detail. You see what each part of the work costs and why — before any commitment.
Do you charge for estimates?
Standard residential quotes are free. For complex commercial scopes or detailed engineering work, we'll tell you upfront if there's a fee — never as a surprise.
What kinds of work do you do?
Panel upgrades, EV charger installations, full home rewiring, smart lighting, turnkey packages (like the Panel + Stucco Patch Combo), and commercial work — tenant improvements, lighting retrofits, multi-meter, and code-compliance projects.
Do you pull permits and handle inspections?
Yes. Panel upgrades, EV charger circuits, rewires, and most commercial work require permits in San Diego County jurisdictions. We pull the permit, schedule the inspection, and meet the inspector on-site — it's part of the scope, not an add-on.
Are you Tesla-certified?
We install Tesla Wall Connectors and have done many Tesla-compatible installs across San Diego County. We don't claim a specific certification beyond that — we tell you what we've done and let the work speak.
